kleh-SAR-ah. From klēsis, the calling. A named thing precedes the run. You were called, then you ran. you are called out before you go out: the alarm before the road, the cold air before the first mile. the name was there before the run was.

three ways to read one shirt.

if you run and don't believe, the words are what they say. press toward the mark. keep going. forward motion. wear it for that. it's enough.

if you believe and don't run much, the same words are older than any race. i press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling, paul, describing a whole life.

and if you're both, the two become one. at mile twenty, where the legs are done arguing, "keep running" and "keep pressing toward Him" stop being two thoughts. that's the gear the road was made to reach.

we don't require the overlap. we built for it.

someone tried to bag a piece before they knew whose it was. that's the point.

it has to work on the cloth first. the phrase is the charge. the k is the thread. the name stays quiet.

we don't print billboards. the phrase is letterspaced, a whisper, if you know. king james on the inside. collar, neck tape, 6–8pt, one line. a garment doesn't need to preach. it needs to be worn, mile after mile, by someone who knows what it says, and to be good enough that another runner asks.

that's the whole design. the shirt starts the conversation. the wearer finishes it.
